Volunteer

For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve

Mark 10:45

Here at HCN, we believe in "rolling up our sleeves,"
literally and figuratively.
We believe in becoming more like Christ by being His tangible gospel through service inside and outside the church walls.

Volunteer FAQ

How do I become a volunteer?

To become a volunteer, fill out the forms above according to the area you would like to serve in.
After you fill out the form, a ministry leader will be
in touch with you!

Are there requirements for serving with kids and students?

Every volunteer who is interested in serving with our kids and students will be background checked. Additionally, there are safety trainings that volunteers are required to complete before stepping into any type of role.
Middle schoolers and high schoolers can volunteer with our preschool students, but they must be accompanied by an adult.

Do I need to be a member of the church to volunteer?

You are not required to be a member of the church to volunteer. We do ask that you are familiar with the church and know that serving is the next best step for you in our community.
"You can't give what you don't have."

Can I still attend service as a volunteer?

If you are serving during one of the church services, but still want to attend a church service, keep in mind that the message in each service remains the same.
If you decide to serve in the 10:30 AM service, for example, you are still able to go to the 9:00 AM service.
